Traveling Moms retreat is a unique getaway for moms and their families. Located on the lush tropical grounds of The Mayan Garden in Belize, our retreat offers an exclusive, private experience for you to relax and reconnect with nature. With 20 acres of gardens and wildlife, you will have the opportunity to explore and experience the beauty of the Mayan jungle while still having the comfort of home. Enjoy a variety of activities, from kayaking and bird watching to yoga and meditation, as well as delicious meals prepared by our on-site chef. Retreat Summary

Meaningful workshops will include topics such as communication, practicing self-regulation, mind-body connection, bonding through arts and more. Some workshops will be for moms only and children only. Other workshops will be together when we practice skills.

Traveling Moms Retreat offers an exclusive 4-day/3-night experience for moms who want to be empowered, inspired, and connected.  
Accommodations, round-trip airport transfers, workshops and one-on-one sessions with coaches, healthy meals, welcome and farewell dinners,  cultural shopping, 50 min.massage, day trips to ancient ruins, and more, provide the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. The Mayan Ruins of Lamanai 

Lamanai (submerged crocodile), is one of the oldest, continuously inhabited archaeological zones in the Maya World. 

Visting Lamanai is one of the top things to do in Belize. You can book this trip with The Mayan Garden who is partnered with Lamanai tour guides. This trip is a full day trip from 9:am- 3:00pm. Please inquire for updated prices.

$700 deposit required to hold a room.

50% of deposit is refunded if you cancel before May 31, 2023. No refunds afterwards.

The rooms have two queen beds. Four people per room. Children must be in a room with an adult.

All monies paid are non-refundable but can be transferred to another participant that you arrange.

All questions regarding travel and retreat details will be emailed and reviewed in the pre-travel group call. Once the date is released, please schedule to be present to ensure smooth travel. There will also be live streaming to discuss workshops.

Meet Jennifer O'Neill Jennifer has been hosting retreats for over 20 years. She started Traveling Moms group to encourage mothers and build confidence to travel with their children. She believes the world is a classroom where humans learn kindness, acceptance and gain a sense of belonging She has worked as a Trauma Psychotherapist in Arizona in private practice with adults and children. She has also trained crisis advocates, attorneys, community organizations on the impact of sexual trauma, domestic violence and sex trafficking. Jennifer is a PhD Clinical Psychology candidate with a specialization in Existential, Humanistic, Transpersonal psychology. Jennifer is also the founder and CEO of a nonprofit, Restoration Empowerment Institute, an organization that provides training, consultation, advocacy, and support services towards recovery for families impacted by oppression, abuse and violence.

Meet Rhonda Coleman. Dr. Coleman, lovingly referred to as The Blacupuncturist, provides acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, tuina, and nutrition and lifestyle coaching in her holistic health clinic. Her sessions are educational and restorative and primarily focus on treatments to support cases of anxiety/stress, pain, depression, insomnia, menstrual pain, and auto-immune conditions. The root of these issues is often found to be related to dietary and/or emotional imbalances. She works with patients of all ages. In addition to being a business owner, teacher, and natural medicine healer, she is a dancer, martial-artist, educator, writer, activist, USAF veteran, wife and a mother. https://blacupuncturist.me/meet-dr-coleman/
